You hear it from many people visiting Kenya, the children despite extreme poverty are the happiest you’ve ever seen. Here you see the typical and the most common toy/old tire. Football is an universal treasure usually owned by a school for many children to share.e.
Since there were not many visitors in Kenya during last year some little children have never seen either a white person, or the iPhone. I felt one or two touched my hair, and the entertainment value that we brought with us by showing them their images on the phone and camera was probably going to stick with them for a while. There was one baby that cried after seeing me, he thought I was a ghost (too white and hairy).
Day 1 of tribal tour brought us to Neshipa Eco Camp, outside of Archers Post. A lovely tour of the local manyatta introduced us to the beautful, friendly and welcoming Samburu tribe.
