This is an incredibly common sight on so many levels: A child tending livestock. Those were within mountains. We heard them singing to the goats near Koros camp where we stayed.

South Horr Singing Wells are wells dug by hand in dry river beds, sometimes very deep. Water is passed up using a chain of humans, singing as they mine the water.
